A successful vaccine has finally been developed for the Ebola virus that has so far claimed the lives of over 2,000 lives in West Africa.
The vaccine has so far been tested in monkeys, with positive results of full immunity to the virus if the the vaccine is applied at five weeks or earlier.
The positive results of the vaccine has led to the start of human trials that have already started in the United States.
