Boko Haram agrees to release kidnapped Nigerian girls in an agreement with the Nigerian military and the two parties have also agree to a ceasefire, to bring to a halt of over 2,000 deaths alone from the start of the year.
The BringBackOurGirls campaign, which was started after 200 Nigerian school girls were abducted by Boko Haram, have responded to the news, by saying they are monitoring the news with huge expectations via their twitter account.
It is hoped that this ceasefire agreement can be the catalyst that brings an end to a bloody war between the two factions that has been ongoing since 2009.
