Reggae/Dancehall Exhibition to premier Art Basel Weekend.

With so many artists, events and exhibitions, Let There Be Reggae will be a unique showcase, a curated snapshot of Reggae music and Dancehall culture.

The three-day exhibition will begin with an opening reception on Thursday, December 7th, from 6 – 10 p.m., in the Wynwood section of Miami. The event will feature work from Australian artist/illustrator Robin Clare, Buzzz Magazine photographer Roy Sweetland (Jamaican), David Muir, ultimate Jamaican Dancehall street sign collector Maxine Walters, and founder of Irish and Chin “sound clash promotions”, Garfield “Chin” Bourne.

The cover illustration of Let There Be Reggae was created by Harlem Artist Corey Evans who now lives in Miami.

The exhibition will give its audience a flavor of the musical scene and illustrate the odyssey of Reggae music to current day Dancehall culture. A story told from the 1970‘s with the foundation cemented by Bob Marley to sound system culture and moving straight to today’s Dancehall stars.

Tickets will be available for purchase in November. For more information on the event, visit www.lettherebereggae.com
