Vybz Kartel and Gaza Slim’s court case in regards to perverting the course of justice has been thrown out by the Director of Public Prosecutions(DPP), Paula Llewellyn, who entered a nolle prosequi ending the matter on the ground that Vybz Kartel’s murder conviction and sentence is being appealed.
She filed that motion on the premise of Kartel’s defence lawyer, Tom Tavares-Finson who made an application for the case to be thrown out due to the fact that witnesses are giving new statements contradicting evidence in the murder trial of Clive ‘Lizard” Williams, that Kartel was convicted for.
