Bob Marley’s Legend album rises into the top 10 selling albums in the Billboard 200 list, 30 years after it’s initial release in 1974. The best selling reggae album of all time was discounted by nearly a dollar in the Google Play Store in commemoration of it’s 30th anniversary, that led to the surge in sales.
The album sold over 41,000 units in the week of September 5th and went as high as #5 on the Billboard charts.
Bob Marley becomes the first Jamaican to enter the top 10 of the billboard twice, the other Jamaicans to make the top 10 chart are Shaggy, Sean Paul and Bob’s son Damian Marley.
