MOOD FEST WEEKENDER

MOOD FEST Logo

Turning lemons into lemonade perfectly describes the genesis of Roger Leysath’s vision for creating a 5 day 4 night musical festival he has dubbed MOOD FEST. The festival is an opportunity that goes beyond the generic desire of generating income as it seeks to create profound social impact through it’s mission, and provide opportunities for development and employment for those involved. The festival’s name, MOOD, pays homage to his philosophy that we are in charge of “Making Our Own Destiny – M.O.O.D.”.

The grand affair will offer patrons a weekend experience at an all-inclusive hotel in Jamaica while they partake in specific activities of leisure, entertainment, education and sensitization, culminating in the musical concert. In addition to its musical offerings, the weekend experience will seek to inspire, educate and inform patrons on Cannabis through the lens of health and wellness and offer business and entertainment guidance for aspiring professionals.

MOOD FEST WEEKENDER

hedule of activities over the weekend will include the Cannabis Health and Wellness Expo, and after party, Beach Fitness programme, Business and Entertainment Conference, MOOD en Blanc beachfront all white dinner and performance show, discounted excursions for patrons of the festival and end with the musical showcase of local and international acts across the genres of dancehall, reggae, soca and hip hop including performances by International stars Trina and HoodCelebrityy.

The festival caters to Jamaicans and music lovers locally and across the diaspora who wish to escape the cold winter season and immerse themselves in the warm and enriching culture and experience that the Jamaican paradise offers. The inclusion of the Cannabis and Health Expo seeks to re-tool the stigmatization of cannabis and highlight its medicinal importance among other benefits, seeking to provide insight into the business as guided by a panel of local and international experts.

The Business and Entertainment conference will also provide information to those persons wishing to enter the music and entertainment industry by providing the best practices for success.
