The double amputee South African track star was acquitted from all murder charges but he could still be convicted for:
- Culpable Homicide or Manslaughter – normally carries a 5 year sentence based on the discretion of the judge
- Illegal Possession of .38 Ammunition – 15 year sentence
- Two Counts of Discharging a Gun in a Public Area – 5 year sentence each
Pistorius wept once again in court when the verdict was being ruled out by the presiding judge, Thokozile Masipa.

Oscar will have to wait until Friday for the judge to rule on the manslaughter charge.
Pistorius has been in trial in connection with Valentine Day murder of his then model girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, in 2013. Where the accused claims he accidentally shot her four times through a bathroom door, thinking she was an intruder.
