Oscar Pistorius was found guilty of Culpable Homicide and discharging a gun in a public area, he can face a maximum jail sentence of up to 15 years for killing then girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
His sentencing will be on October 13 by judge Thokozile Masipa.
Although the South African Olympian track star was found guilty of the homicide charge he could still get off with a slap on the wrist based on the discretion of the judge who can rule in favour of Pistorious and imposee a suspended jail sentence due to his unstable emotional state that he has displayed throughout the trial.
