Whilst there is disbelief in the Charles Darwin Theory of Evolution, you can’t deny that technology has come a far way. In fact we have the evidence to prove it. Man has always been inventive and ingeniously improving on every discovery and creation made prior. It is so with the television that was invented in the 1800’s. If you are privileged enough to have an antique television set, you may be able to relate.
Our grandparents had those in the wooden stand, which are the early forms of the CRT rear-projection television. The early years only allowed them to display picture in black and white until it developed into the coloured models. More recently, the LCD and Plasma screens came about in the 90’s. Well, Samsung, one of the world’s leading companies for technology and appliance creation has gone a step further to create the first ever of its kind, curve television.
The 105-inch TV has a massive, Ultra High-Definition screen, and transforms “from flat to curved” at the touch of a button. It features a panoramic 21:9 aspect ratio, providing customers a cinematic experience while at home. The gizmo also offers an 11 million pixel (5120×2160) screen resolution, providing five times the resolution of full HD, Peak Illuminator, Samsung’s proprietary picture quality technology and a 160W built-in speaker.
Samsung also unveiled its first and largest bendable television. Samsung’s Bendable UHD TV features a 105-inch UHD display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, the ability to switch from a flat to a curved panel, a Timeless Gallery design and a curvature of 4200R when curved. In addition, it offers UHD Dimming and UHD Upscaling for more detailed picture optimisation, reduction of light diffusion and enhanced contrast.
Sounds exciting, right? Well, for all those tech-savvy persons, it’s time to get your hands on one of these for the finest in television viewing. What next, you may be asking. You’ll never know because the brilliant team at Samsung may have something waiting in their sketchpads for you.
