I have been doing make-up for over twenty years and can honestly say that red lips have been the most feared, yet revered item in my kit. I encounter customers who are just, “plain shy,” to the, “ok, I’ll take a chance,” ones and the, “I’m in your face – BOLD,” type girls. Red lips can be seductively captivating, timelessly hot and fashion-forward, but the right shade can also add some pep and sex appeal to your work wardrobe.
They are the quintessential sexy look, but getting it just right can take a little know-how. Sometimes the lipstick smudges, making it seem more like art work from a child’s mud pit, with no consideration for the outline, rather than Rhianna donning the perfect crimson pout.
