Eye Q Optical: Clarity Never Looked Sharper

There is, it appears, nothing like a show to get people in front of products and even vice versa. Companies and industries have long sought to promote their wares via this time-honoured
medium; auto lovers have their car shows; home buyers have the “open house” and of course, the fashion and couture (no, they’re NOT quite the same)have their regular expositions. So, how about eyewear?

Yes eyewear as in way past “glasses”, as in the “accessory” that seamlessly blends health – as in improved vision – and style. For nigh. Two decades now, Aron Wohl has been practicing that worthy fusion through the Eye Q brand, beginning with the original store in what is now the Courtleigh Business Centre and also with the second outlet in Manor Park.

It was Eye Q that some 17 years ago, pioneered the Frame Style show, or eyewear “trunk show,” if you prefer, and it’s a concept that has kept the business buzzing. Clients have responded favourably to the opportunity to get the “look and feel”  of a virtual smorgasbord of frames, even as they get their vision checked in the store’s simple yet ultra-modern and efficient facility.

“We’re about giving everyone a choice, and staying that one step ahead of the field,” Wohl says. Our focus is, “Forever Fashionable and Affordable. You can come in, lyme, have a drink, converse, go through and make a selection.”
