It is often said that women are addicted to shopping, while their male partners follow them around miserably. It’s funny how this theory can be tested because even since the beginning of time, men were assigned the task of hunting wild animals, in doing so, they would kill the first one that meets the eye and return home. Women, on the other hand, went looking for vegetables, fruits, nuts etc., but would carefully examine each one, then select the edible and nutritious ones, discard the rest and return home.
Daniel Kruger, an evolutionary psychologist, claims that shopping evokes the “gatherer” instinct in women, and they act accordingly. This is the exact concept that gave rise to the revolutionary shopping sensation that burns deep within the walls of Revo bids 4U Designs.
Revo bids is a networking company that houses an assortment of fashion, rare forms of uniquely designed accessories, and household products. They are dedicated to offering fashion-savvy women styles from some of the most popular department stores in the U.S.A, namely, Macy’s, JC Penny, Marshalls, and Bloomingdales. Proprietor Ms V.Thomas, Kim, and original Buyer Boyd Peart-Black are the faces behind this fashion mecca. Having met in 2015, the trio combined their relentless business skills, passion for fashion, and cosmopolitan taste to Manchester.

The goal was to create a high-end “dream closet” for women who seemingly have way too much clothing and jewellery that are rarely ever worn. The rapid growth of their first location quickly spiralled into a fashion crave, which gave girth to two additional stores, with all three existing in central areas, 47 Eastwood Park Rd in Halfway tree, Greater Portmore Shopping Centre, St. Catherine and 16 Park Crescent, Mandeville.
It all started when Ms V. Thomas, like most women, would indulge in her love for retail therapy for the primary purpose of improving her mood at all cost. Who would have thought that having such a creative eye for rare pieces that are purchased but are rarely ever worn, if she did at all, would be so profitable? Boyd, being the wise investor that he is, suggested that instead of having these unworn garments lying around, why not have them commercialised. It was here that the immaculate birth of Revo Bids 4U designs surfaced the earth.
