Sipping on a cocktail is a great way to get in the spirit this holiday season. But is any mix a cocktail? Mixologist Dajorn Commock of Level 96 explains that a cocktail is a mix of three or more ingredients, one of which is a distilled spirit or liqueur.
La-Toya Samuels-Cousins looked on as Dajorn created some mixes using traditional Christmas flavours.

Coco French Twist
1 ¼ oz Coconut rum
1 shot Tia Maria
½ oz Evaporated Milk
½ oz French Vanilla (mix of honey and vanilla)
Line glass with chocolate syrup
Shake ice and mixture and add to glass.
Top with whipped cream. Add more chocolate and finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and cherry on top.
Ecstacy
1 ¼ shot Disaronna
1 shot Amaretto
½ shot crème de cacao
½ shot Overproof rum
1 shot Baileys
Shake ice and mixture and add to glass
Sprinkle with nutmeg. Add green garnish and a cherry.
Skyy High
1 shot Sour apple liqueur
1 ¼ shot Skyy Vodka
½ oz lime juice
½ oz simple syrup
A splash of cranberry juice
Shake and pour into martini glass, topping with cherry and lime.
FIN LEMON SPLASH
1 ½ shot Finlandia lime vodka
½ shot maraschino cherry juice
½ shot lime juice
Dash of simple syrup
Water
Shake and add to mason glass
