Following up on the launch of its flavoured beers a few years ago, Red Stripe now has a new look for 2017. The bold, crisp flavours of Lemon Paradise and Sorrel join the original flavour and are now available in cans. According to Nasha Douglas, Senior Brand Manager for Red Stripe, “Introducing cans is an initiative that we are really excited about.” Douglas continues,
“It’s a convenient option that works in all arenas and we are expecting a great response from Red Stripe fans.”
Red Stripe has always been a dynamic brand that seeks to capture the imagination of beer lovers. And that’s what innovation is all about – ensuring that you bring something new to the table to keep the brand fresh and exciting for those who already love the beer, and to entice those who haven’t yet been won over.
The canned packaging of 250 millilitres is intended to make it more convenient for consumers. The cans are made from fast-cooling materials to ensure optimal temperatures for the popular lager. As Douglas states, “This new packaging is the next step for the world’s coolest beer. Red Stripe cans help to make sure our consumers get that ice cold Red Stripe faster so they can savour the taste and enjoy responsibly.”
This latest innovation from the Spanish Town Road brewery, Red Stripe Lemon Paradise and Sorrel flavoured cans are available in supermarkets and wholesales across the island. So far, the response from consumers has been phenomenal.
Again, Red Stripe prove their adaptability and commitment to innovation which set them apart as the Great Jamaican Beer.
