Whats the Tea?

Whats the Tea?

For some, tea is an aromatic beverage commonly prepared by pouring hot or boiling water over cured leaves of their favorite plant. For others ‘tea’ is the latest must have gossip that they want every detail of. Whatever your definition of choice, we have the tea for you!

And while a traditional cup of steaming ‘morning tea’ may be too hot for you to handle in this summer heat, we’re about to show that teas are the coolest summer drinks.

When Summer Gives You Lemons

When life gives you lemons, forget about lemonade, make iced tea. Add a few of your favorite Kendel tea bags, water, a bit of sugar to that lemon that life so graciously handed you, pour it over a few ice cubes and…. voilà a refreshing summer drink. You can keep it simple with Kendel’s Gold Infusions Classic Green Tea or mix it up with their Exotic Fruit Tea. It tastes great, cools you down and fills you up with loads of antioxidants, nutrients, the natural stimulant caffeine and vitamin C….good bye common cold.

Adult Tea Party Time

What’s summer without a party? Why not make tea the drink of choice? Use Kendel Lemon Aloe tea to put a twist on the popular Earl Grey Tea Cocktail. All you’ll need is a bottle of Gin, some Kendel tea and a sprig of lavender. The subtle botanicals in the gin pair nicely with the tea’s lemon flavor, making this a very delicate and aromatic cocktail….best grown up summer cocktail ever!

Tea is Trending

Summer time calls for beach bodies and glowing skin. And the latest trend to getting both is drinking tea, detoxing teas specifically. A teatox as it’s called, is using tea to detoxify your body. It promises results such as weight loss, detoxification, and increased energy. Heard of fruit infused water…that’s so 2016, isn’t it? A few Kendel Herbal & Fruit Detox tea bags (filled with yummy Juniper, Linden, Nettle, Horsetail & Strawberry Tea) plus slices of your favorite fruits added to some hot water left to steep equals fruit infused tea, a drink worthy of summer 2017. Have it hot or cold to detoxify your body while tantalizing your taste buds.

Whether it’s steaming in a mug or chilled over a glass of ice, tea is a must have for the summer. So have some fun exploring these and other tea recipes. Cool, refreshing and perfect for entertaining, that’s ‘the tea.’
