The Grenadian parliament considers finning it’s residents for mosquito breeding sites by reintroducing the Mosquito Destruction Act of 1952.
The Act wwould force it’s people to force people to enact hygienic practises that would hinder the breeding of mosquitoes the carriers of the Chikungunya virus that has swept through the Caribbean.
First time offenders to the act would be fined EC$250 (Eastern Caribbean) and repeat offenders would have to fork out EC$500.
