Youtube is set to launch an ad-free video streaming service and allow users to download music for a monthly subscription, of £9.99. The service will first be available to Android devices and then Apple’s suite of mobile devices, but unfortunately the new services not be available to PC users.
The suit of services should have been launched earlier but parent company Google had trouble agreeing fees with independent labels, but that hurdle has now been cleared with hundreds of deals being signed with the Independent labels and Google.
Users shouldn’t get too excited as yet, even though the service will be launched in a few days, as the services will only be available to a pool of selected beta users.
