Book Review : SOAR

Book Review : SOAR

‘Inspiration’ is a word usually thrown around and used loosely to describe practically any and everything that is remotely positive. After delving into the pages of Debbie-Ann Duncan’s book ‘Soar”, it was evident, not only that she had a certified gold mine on her hands, but that this rather thin publication was indeed a game changer.

Unlike many previous books, wherein they simply quote a bunch of scriptures and believe that will be enough to give readers adequate motivation. ‘Soar’ provides an actual guide on a variety of issues and
subject areas. From how to invest long-term; how to make saving a life-long habit to how to nurture one’s marriage, ‘Soar’ contains step-by-step instructions on how exactly one can persevere in situations that otherwise may seem challenging or even insurmountable. In the end, the authorties it back to the steady growth of one’s faith, ensuring that one’s economic growth is successfully twinned to one’s spiritual path.

According to Duncan, she started writing in October 2021 and completed it two months later. What is even more incredible is that she got it published a mere three months after that. “I went to my bed and got the revelation that ‘Soar’ was to be the name of the book as it is for anybody, both the saved and unsaved. It speaks to your spirit to live as you should because the eagle uses adversities to rise up and soar. My testimony is that once you have life, you have hope. There is a passion in the book to help others and so far it has benefited and impacted many people.”
