Doorway to Deception

Nothing screams drama like a woman scorned, and in ‘Doorway to Deception’, not only is there a jilted side piece but she is a certified sociopath who is not leaving the relationship without a fight.

The story surrounds Evad’o, a quiet but cute store manager in a trendy upscale boutique, who for the most part is trying to be contented with the ongoing relationship between himself and his girlfriend, Camille.

Secretly, he is sexually dissatisfied with Camille and is becoming increasingly attracted to Kay, one of his customers who happens to be a young femme fatale with more curves than Mount Rossier.

Evad’o finally became overwhelmed by lust for more when the perfect opportunity presented itself for him to make his inner feelings known to Kay.

As time progressed, this resulted in a relationship with Kay and the desired sexual satisfaction, but the consequence was ‘confusion’.

Kay had no intention of being a ‘one night stand’ or a ‘side chick’. She was determined to replace Camille, and that is when things really gets ugly for everyone.

The reading is fun; the flow is easy and the pages almost turn themselves as I read it in one sitting, unwilling to take a break until I got to the end which has a twist I never saw coming.

The theme here and in other novels highlighting infidelity, reveals, that although the grass looks green or greener on the other side of the fence, when you get there you realise that you do not even like walking on grass all that much!

This story, created by Renouy O.C. had me hooked from the first paragraph. And while I do not think I can properly pronounce his name, I can definitely state that he has a bonafide literary winner on his hands.
