Cee-Lo Green tweets ‘It isn’t rape if the victim is unconscious’

After pleading no contest for charges he slipped a woman ecstasy without her consent in 2012, that alleged caused him to lose his spot on the popular singing competition, ‘The Voice’. Cee-Lo made things even worse for himself by his horrid attempt at trying to define rape via social media site Twitter.

The singer moved quickly to remove the tweet but not before several of his followers Retweeted and Tweeted responses to the singer.

Cee-Lo responded by tweeting apologies and temporarily removing his Twitter account, but the damage has already been done and his followers weren’t impressed.

The rape claim was dismissed due to insufficient evidence but Cee-Lo was sentenced to three years of probation, plus 45 days of community service.
