It was another night of little sleep thanks to K. Sean Harris as his newest novel was in my possession and as expected his words mesmerized until the last page was consumed. His latest offering is a heavy hitter on the cerebral side and if you can conceive that pain can be pleasurable, you will definitely be tuned in to ‘Flogging Dead Horses’.
Most of us have been in love at least once or twice, and while the high is heady and often celestial, the low is such a devastating crash that you would think a robot taxi just rammed into you. Love and loss is no joke and when you throw jealousy and a perpetual wandering ‘pecker’ in the mix, you know Harris has a Molotov cocktail of sex, sorrow, intrigue, heartbreak, selfishness, more sex and soul crushing loss.
