Soooo, I got a chance to watch Jurassic World and lets get one thing clear – unlike my hubby, I am no sci-fi fan. Normally, I watch sci flicks to offer emotional support. I must say though, it’s surprisingly OK! Yes, it is a bit predictable but, it is easy to follow and indeed entertaining.
There’s no surprise it is the highest grossing film in the Jurassic Park film series. Kudos to the production team, which includes executive producer, Stephen Spielberg, from previous Jurassic Park films alongside Colin Trevorrow, who sat in the director’s chair.
There were some moments, where I felt like going in the screen and slapping some characters for stupidity, only to remind myself, it is just a movie! Overall cast selection wasn’t bad but, I don’t think I felt the presence of the lead lady, Bryce Dallas Howard. Some might not agree however, I don’t think she was a good fit for her character. Vincent D’Onofrio did a good job as a villain. He couldn’t help the fact his character was slightly cheesy and stereotypical bad. I will not even address Bryce Dallas Howard’s annoying onscreen nephews, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson; I am in a good mood.
