Native to the island of Barbados, Robyn Rihanna Fenty burst unto the music scene in 2005 with her debut hit single “Pon De Replay” and brought a new Caribbean face and flare to the music industry. Since then, Rihanna has released eight (8) chart topping albums between 2005 – 2016 namely “Music of the Sun”, “A Girl Like Me”, “Good Girl Gone Bad”, “Rated R”, “Loud”, “Talk That Talk”, “Unapologetic” and “Anti”. These albums produced mega hits such as “Umbrella”, “We Found Love”, “Work” and “Diamonds” just to name a few, which cemented Rihanna as a household name in music and a force to be reckoned with. Her extensive repertoire of music has afforded her some of the industry’s coveted accolades and awards. So far in her musical journey, Rihanna has been awarded 9 Grammys, 12 Billboard Music Awards including Female Artist of the Year, 13 American Music Awards to include the notable Icon Award, and 7 MTV Video Music Awards including being awarded the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. With millions of albums sold worldwide and great anticipation for the release of her ninth studio album, Rihanna decided to branch off into other projects which ultimately lead to start of what has become a lucrative beauty and fashion empire with the launch of Fenty Beauty (a cosmetic and beauty company) and Savage X Fenty (an all-inclusive lingerie line). Both businesses with their global success has earned Rihanna Billionaire status; a remarkable achievement for the humble Caribbean native. With no signs of slowing down, and having already dominated the music scene, she continues to make her mark as a business mogul, entrepreneur and inspiration to all.
But if conquering music and business was not enough, Rihanna is proving that you can truly have it all with the latest announcement that has been causing quite a media frenzy. The 33 year old mogul and recently named National Hero of Barbados is PREGNANT with her first child. Rihanna and her boyfriend ASAP Rocky broke the internet as they strolled through New York exposing her developing stomach which flooded digital space with images confirming what many had been suspecting for some time now. The images show a glowing Rihanna beaming with joy for what is about to be a brand new chapter in her life. But with her music, business ventures and philanthropy as indicators of her magnificence, Rihanna will definitely conquer motherhood in a way that only she can and we can’t wait to witness this beautiful journey of her life.
