Skip Marley recently released his newest single titled “Slow down” with ten-time nominated, two-time 2019 Grammy award-winning sensation H.E.R. The vibe, melody, and chemistry that comes from the song is replicated in the video and gives this nostalgic feeling that somehow reminds you of a collaboration his grandfather did with Lauryn Hill, “Turn your lights down low.”

The song nets over 44 million global streams and the fastest streaming song in the Marley family history. Skip has been dubbed the first Jamaican-born artist in almost 15 years to achieve such an honour. The word on almost everyone’s lips is how captivating the chemistry between Skip and H.E.R was, both on the track and the music video. Shot in Harlem NY, the visual representation of the video matched the musical vibe of the two which quickly gained 12 million views on Youtube.
