The south coast came alive with music, flavour and celebration as Busy Signal, Shaneil Muir and Queen Ifrica headlined the Bigga Little Ochie Seafood Carnival 2026, drawing one of the largest crowds in the festival’s history to Alligator Pond, Manchester.
Thousands of patrons packed the iconic seafood destination on Sunday, July 12, transforming Little Ochie into a lively hub of entertainment, authentic Jamaican cuisine and cultural celebration. Held under the theme “Where Legends Are Born,” this year’s staging surpassed last year’s attendance, cementing the event’s reputation as one of Jamaica’s biggest food and entertainment festivals.
From the early hours of the day, seafood lovers, families, tourists and music fans streamed into the venue to indulge in fresh seafood delicacies while soaking up an atmosphere filled with live music, interactive activities and the unmistakable energy of the south coast.
As the sun began to set, the entertainment shifted into high gear with an all-star lineup that kept the massive crowd on its feet.
Dancehall heavyweight Busy Signal delivered a high-energy performance packed with fan favourites, sending patrons into a frenzy as they sang along to his biggest hits. His commanding stage presence and infectious energy reminded fans why he remains one of Jamaica’s most celebrated entertainers.
Adding her signature blend of power and emotion, Shaneil Muir captivated the audience with a commanding performance that showcased her unmistakable vocals and confident stage presence. The dancehall star connected effortlessly with fans, who enthusiastically echoed every lyric.
Bringing the festival to a soulful close, reggae stalwart Queen Ifrica delivered an uplifting set rooted in culture, consciousness and timeless reggae music. Her inspiring performance provided a fitting finale to an event that celebrated not only great entertainment but the richness of Jamaican heritage.
