For example an old tyre. We all know how unfriendly used tyres are to our environment. Rather than throw it out, taking up space in our landfills, how about turning it into a coffee table. All you need is the discarded tyre, spray paint, a piece of glass and some legs easily found at a hardware store. The results are a stunning, one of a kind piece of art. Now there’s an idea that is sure to wow guests!
Old cutlery and utensils can make refreshing décor. You may have an old soup ladle. This makes a lovely candle holder. Just hang your ladle and place a tea light candle in it and voila, an interesting exclusive candle holder. What about using old spoons or forks as a key holder or use them to hold small items around the house? You can also use them as drawer pulls in the kitchen.
