Born right here in Kingston Jamaica but lived in the Parish of St Mary for the first 13-years of his life with his grandparents. Richards then relocated to Kingston for secondary education at Papine High School.
In an interview with Shannon-Dale Reid, Richards shed light on how he got interested in storytelling saying, “It all started in Saint Mary when I recognized my penchant for storytelling, predominantly in music with LIFE as my inspiration”. He noted that his musical influence came from a few reggae icons such as Beres Hammond, Garnet Silk, Buju Banton, and Tony Rebel.
