This is not your regular ice cream and cookie sandwich idea. Instead we’re using prepackaged cookie dough mix. Share the mixture on two baking sheets or in one rectangular baking pan with wax paper in between the layers and place into a freezer to set. Spread any of the Nestle Gold Edition ice cream flavours onto one layer then cover with the second layer of frozen dough. Cut as many pieces and serve.

Battered & Deep Fried

The popular Asian treat can be found on most Japanese restaurant menus. It’s simply ice cream (deeply frozen) rolled in pancake batter, cookie crumbs, crushed cornflakes or even sugary breadcrumbs coated with thoroughly beaten egg whites then fried. Heat oil until it is very hot (about 3 inches deep), doing one ice cream ball at a time directly out of the freezer. Serve when it is fried golden brown.

It is amazing what a few Nestle Neapolitan Ice Cream bars sandwiches can do. The basic ice cream cake is made with cake, which is baked, cooled and then matched with ice cream every other layer. However, pre-made ice cream sandwiches can substitute as a quick remedy. Place 4 – 6 sandwiches in a small square cake pan, then spread a thin layer of whipped cream before making another layer perpendicular to the previous. Make about 4 – 5 layers then cover the entire cake with the whipped cream and allow it to set in the freezer.
