Magnitude 7.7 Earthquake affects Jamaica; Tsunami waves possible

A 7.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded 117 kilometers northwest of Lucea, Jamaica around 2:10 p.m.

 

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, tsunami waves along the coasts of Jamaica, Belize, Cuba, Honduras, Mexico and the Cayman Islands are possible.
