If you’re a sporty couple, you can merger fun and romance by incorporating your proposal into one of your favorite outdoor activities such as hiking, or playing a game of football. For example, you can place the ring in a waterproof box and rest it in the sand while you go for a swim. As she stumbles upon the hidden jewel, watch her face light up as you ask her to be your happily ever after.
Not into outdoor adventures? Then take her on a treasure hunt around the house instead. If your significant other enjoys spending quality time at home, amplify your alone time by placing clues into Christmas stockings and hiding them around the house, with the biggest stocking stuffer being the ring of course.
Add some humor to your proposal by playing dress up. Put on your Santa suit and have your special lady sit on your lap and tell you all the things she’d like to receive for Christmas. For the hopeless romantic in both of you, try playing a game I like to call, ‘The Seven Days of Christmas’. On each day leading up to the day you plan to propose, give her a note describing what you love about her. Then, on the
seventh day, describe what you love about her most as you propose on bended knee.
