An Evening With Air Supply & Third World

An Evening With Air Supply & Third World

When Reggae Ambassadors Third World took the stage, their 45-year history as one of Jamaican music’s most respected and beloved performing bands was on full show.

Gratitude is a must for the Issa Trust Foundation (ITF) and those who invested in tickets for ‘An Evening with Air Supply & Third World’ as the return on that investment was a substantial deposit into their memory bank and a much-needed contribution to a worthy cause.Paul Issa, Chairman, Issa Trust Foundation, was all smiles as he welcomed guests to Couples Sans Souci. Encouraging guests to donate and participate in the online auction, he highlighted that 100% of the proceeds will go towards the Annotto Bay and Savanna La Mar hospital’s pediatric ward projects supported by the National Health Fund.By the time Air Supply took the stage, the audience was in fine singing form, accompanying the duo word for word on every track. ‘Even the Nights are Better’ when multiplatinum hitmakers Air Supply hit the stage. The platinum duo wasted no time reminding Jamaica why their music remains so popular after 45 years. With fans on their feet, many head back with arms in the air, they sang along for the hour plus encore set of exceptional hit music including ‘All Out of Love’, ‘Two Less Lonely People’, ‘Sweet Dreams’, ‘Here I Am’ and ‘Making Love Out of Nothing At All’. As ITF Ambassadors, Air Supply has not only performed twice to help raise funds but also donated two signed guitars, backpack and jacket to the ITF online auction. The duo took time the day before the show to tour the pediatric ward opened last summer with proceeds from their 2017 fundraiser. The hospital visit included Patron of the foundation Her Excellency Lady Allen, and co-headliners Third World, all of whom were touched by the children and families they met and the dedication of the doctors and nurses who provided care at the facility.

The Issa Trust Foundation’s For the Children concert has carved a place in music lovers’ hearts and earned a place on the island’s entertainment calendar. Fans are ready and waiting for the next ITF event.
