Richie Drenz is at it again as he closed out 2015 with the latest in his literary saga, Heart of Revenge 3. Dubbed an ‘Erotic Bliss Triology’, Heart of Revenge 3 is where the story ‘come to bump’ for the Lexings family of Leelia, Vance, Aubrea and of course the ‘caa-cool’, temptress known as ‘Pinky’.
The story picks up from the car accident that almost claims the life of Vybz, the second in command to the area don Finneral.
Vybz survives the car accident…only to be shot down the very next day by his general for being disloyal with Finneral’s crackhead ex-lover Portia, who also got shot. Both survive their ordeal but there are constant clouds on the horizon for all involved.
Old demons come back to haunt them and secrets are revealed that almost tears family members apart and pits daughter against mother and husband against wife.
It is another gripping tale from Richie Drenz who takes the inner-city lives of individuals and puts it on front street.
Doing so highlighted the fact these people have a story to tell too and their stories are just as, if not more entertaining than those who live above Cross roads.
While their motivation may at times be different, the emotions and feelings are the same and the struggle for survival is real as while money may not blow breath into people, it certainly can keep them alive to fight to see another day.
Heart of Revenge 3 is another exciting addition to the Drenz literary catalogue and is worth the read.
