The latest introduction in the BMW family to the local market by automotive giant Stewart’s Auto, the brand’s authorized dealer in Jamaica, the BMW m235i 2 Series Coupe is a nice piece of work and should get some attention from BMW-loving Jamaicans!

Boasting improved dimensions over its predecessor; the BMW 1 Series Coupe, the 2 Series two-door sports unit is a great fit to accommodate all. We’re talking improvements by as much as 72 millimetres to round out 4,432 millimetres lengthwise and 26 millimetres to 1,774 millimetres width wise.
Generous adjustments have also been made to the wheelbase. But more noticeable among true BMW lovers as they enter the car will be the add-ons to the interior space, which now has an interior cockpit design that ensures maximum driving pleasure and premium ambience for all four seats. Nineteen millimetres of extra head room in the front and 21 millimetres of additional legroom in the rear compartment, making for a comfy fit with increased boot capacity by as much as 20 litres for 390 litres, plus a rear seat back rest that splits into two with options to fold out 20:40:20.

Launched in May this year the dealers remain cautiously optimistic about the car’s sales. Powered by a 2.0 litre four cylinder petrol engine and BMW TwinPower Turbo technology that delivers on its sporting ability and efficiency, the unit is a mix of petrol and diesel-engine.
The manufacturers are touting the BMW Efficient/Dynamics technology on this one, which includes air curtains and auto start/stop function, an interchange between manual and automatic gearbox for further increasing the efficiency of the Coupe.
Once you begin to feel your way around the BMW 2 Series Coupe you’ll get the hang of that unique BMW handling.
